Sikhism is the latest among the religions of the world andwas founded by Guru Nanak Dev in the Punjab ,which had been the meeting place of many races and civilisation . the moral transformation started by him was carried on to its accomplish by the chain of gurudom in the order of  succesion given below .

The birthdays of Sikh Guru are celebrated as Gurpurabs .
                                                         The death anniversaries  of Guru Arjan Dev and Guru Tegh Bahadur who laid down there lives for the protection of freedom of religions faith and conscience are celebrated as shahidi(martyrdom)days.
